How it grows, step by step

  1. Six local spaces,
    first.

    One for each of our 8 study regions (including the 2 cross-regional study regions). Built around how that community actually wants to talk and share information about it.

  2. Real conversation, not a comment box.

    Discussion threads. Feedback forms. Simple, visual ways to see the science behind the decisions.

  3. Online and in-person, together.

    What happens on the platform feeds into real workshops. What happens in the workshops feeds back into the platform. Nothing here is a snapshot. It's a live conversation.

  4. Then, all of
    Europe.

    Later in the project, it opens up. Public. Pan-European. Any EU region can join - not just our original eight.

Why it matters

Most tools like this stop at one pilot region, then disappear.

We're building ours to last - so anyone, anywhere in Europe, can pick it up long after BALANSED ends.
